None of this silly you must collect your item from a port near you and hope it’s there when you get there.

Some items come in at a port nowhere near you. It’s the luck of the draw.

Fight your way through security etc. and all the hassle that goes with it. Oh did you bring proof of identity? NO.  Sorry, you can’t have it then.

All this after waiting for 6 or 8 weeks.

We now have a reliable door to the door shipping company that we use for sea shipping. They do all the booking for on board in China such as allotting a container and all the sorting when it hits land in the UK including customs and delivery. Anywhere in the UK.

Our air shipping takes around 6 to 9 days max this was before the Virus took over after payment being cleared. This is done via FedEx or similar door to door service. From the maker to you. 

Corona Virus has changed all of that, unfortunately. However, we can still get your item to your door. We have to use sea shipping at this moment in time so that adds weeks to delivery. Sorry. 

Items under 100Kg can still be shipped via air shipping depending on physical size.

Sea shipping does not provide tracking details.

You do not need to do anything. Tell us what you want, pay your money.

Once your Bespoke Still Combination is in the shipping system you will receive a tracking number. ( Air only )

It has to have electronically entered the carrier tracking system and have left the Chinese Postal system before this is available.

You will be able to follow your purchase every step of the way.  

Your item will arrive on your doorstep the day you are expecting it to. But not with sea shipping.

We are not here today and gone tomorrow. We are an honest upfront friendly trading partner. 

If you are happy and satisfied we are happy and pleased you have what you want. 

We have a reputation to uphold.

There is just one payment you will have to make apart from what you pay us, this is a customs import VAT payment.

This will be sent to you from FedEx or similar and you will send them the payment.

They pay it on your behalf and then claim it back from you.

With sea shipping, this works a little differently. There is a cost to get the item to the port and it is FOB until it reaches its destination. There is then customs and other payments shipping etc once it leaves customs it goes into a warehouse on the docks where it must be collected within three days to avoid storage charges.

The shipping delivery company will not collect until all customs and other charges are paid.  

If your unit is shipped by sea because it is too large or too heavy to come by air then this will have to be paid before delivery will take place.

This is not pointed out with most international sellers. It just arrives like an unwanted surprise present.

No. Be upfront with every aspect. Leave nothing to chance. 

If you are a VAT registered business you will claim a portion of this back. But like most of us, we just have to suck it up.

They have now started on their own. They supply well known American Companies and the well known Still Dragon Company.

To mention just a couple. These items are about the best you will find, the quality is second to none and far better than the Russian and Eastern European items.

We do not and will not accept any responsibility for damage or injury to a person or structure from the misuse or unauthorised use of this equipment. This equipment must be used and operated by a skilled person and or persons with knowledge and understand in the use of Distilling and not limited to Distilling Equipment. A Licensed Premises and Person or Persons is advised in the use of and operation of this equipment.

Please be aware we cannot/ will not be held responsible for any damage during transit. This is out of our hands. Shipping is at the customer’s own risk.  Any damage claim will be limited to the customs value of the shipment. You are the importer so this will be your responsibility.  We will however rectify any faults with the boiler or items supplied with the boiler in the same shipment for a limited time. ( Normally 12 months. This does not cover or include consumables. )

Guarantee.

We the seller Guarantee that we will replace or repair or pay for a local repair at our discretion for a period of 1 Year from the date of purchase of any defects to Welding or Stainless Steel or Copper Seams. This guarantee does not cover consumables i.e. Gaskets, Water Hoses and fittings, Clamps, Glasses etc. or misuse in any way.

In making a purchase of any of our products or equipment you take on the responsibility for your actions and exempt us the seller of any and all responsibilities. By the fact, you have made a purchase you agree to these terms and conditions and absolve us the seller of all and any of the above responsibilities in making your purchase.

Choose the way your  Bespoke Still Combination is made up.

Items made to order and shipped to your door via air and courier.  All units are obviously made in China. But they are made to your design from the basic standard design. Thermometers can be upgraded to digital thermometers for a minimal extra cost. They are also supplied with the basic water connection kit and regulators.

The Boilers.

Boilers can be however many litres you want them to be. You are not stuck with a standard size. Heating elements again can be whatever you would like them to be and can be supplied complete with the controller. Milk Cans are 50L or 100L over this size is a standard boiler of your choice and design.

Columns.

I sometimes have  2″ Glass Columns in stock. £279.00 each. These are supplied in a kit form to help avoid damage in transit. This includes the glass column with 4 single bubble plates, a spool tee with a thermometer, a gooseneck with attached Liebig/condenser, all clamps and gaskets.  Delivery is for the UK only. There are also various other attachments that can be fitted to the columns.

Still, columns are either stainless steel, copper or Glass. 2″ * 3″ *  4″ * 6″ * 8″ * Sieve Plate * Bubble Plate * Pot Still with Copper Dome the possibilities are endless. The 400L Gin has been shipped to South Africa.  One has been purchased in the UK with another one on order. The approx price was £5600.00 for this complete still with floor standing Column, floor-standing Gin Basket and floor standing Condenser with Parrot. Shipping to the UK would be extra. If you would be interested in this fantastic looking item please ask. Posted as a taster. The S.A. person that purchased this item has now ordered an 800L version. As a footnote, the Copper Dome can also be made to suit requirements.

 Copper Helmet or Copper Dome can be made to fit more or less any size of Tri-Clamp from and including 2” upwards. i. e. 2.5” 3” 3.5” 4” 6”

The Helmet / Dome measures 400mm in height x 350mm at the widest point. Specials can be made to order. 

A guide price is around £425.00 for up to and including 4” and is made from approximately 2mm thick copper. It weighs in at around 9Kg.  

These are heavy-duty solid units. The price does include shipping. 

The actual size and thickness may vary slightly as they are handmade.

Shipping Policy.

Shipping can be arranged to be direct to your door at basic costs no extra cost. Shipping is expensive so we do not add a percentage. This is normally included in the price you pay for the item. 

Shipping costs and risks have to be borne by you the purchaser as we have no control over this. Any damage incurred during travel/transit/shipping we cannot be held responsible for. We do our best to pack things securely and safely. Should you wish to take out insurance to cover this possibility please ask. This applies to domestic transit as well as intercontinental transit. 

Shipping time may be influenced by Customs delays, holiday events or other uncertainties we cannot control.

Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company.

Please do not confuse them with additional shipping charges. They are not these are customs import duty charges.

Direct shipping saves internal UK shipping from me to you. Again this is at the risk of you the purchaser. The same policy applies to external import shipping and internal shipping.  By making a purchase you accept these terms and conditions. It may be possible to have extra insurance on some items.
